The Way Foundation (TWF) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides basic healthcare services to under-served populations through qualified healthcare professionals. TWF recruits healthcare teams and offers short-term assignments for volunteer interdisciplinary clinical and support staff. The way Foundation was founded on the belief that knowledge of basic health facts and access to high-quality health care should not be the prerogative of select nations, regions, or classes, but should be defended as a basic human right for all of humanity. While TWF operates sustainable, long-term solutions in our communities, global health volunteers often participate for one to two weeks beyond our borders each year.
Our work is undertaken to reach people who have been excluded from today’s healthcare systems across the globe. Through partnerships with local and international stakeholders, TWF works to expand access to high-quality basic health education, diagnosis, treatment, and primary/secondary prevention services to vulnerable populations.
The success of our trips is fully dependent on our partnerships in the communities we serve. Our goal is to establish long-term relationships that allow us to revisit each of the communities in which we work every year.
We partner with in-country hosts willing to make a multi-year commitment for the benefit of the communities that we serve. With our medical team volunteers, support staff, and the health care supplies/medicines that we will bring, we aim to provide annual health checks to hundreds of local community members during our health outreach campaigns.

TWF recruits healthcare teams and offers short-term assignments for volunteer physicians, advance practice providers, nurses, laboratory scientists, and other healthcare professionals as well as non-clinical volunteers to conduct outreach medical clinics in areas where medical care is limited or difficult to obtain. The way Foundation was founded on the belief that knowledge of basic health facts and access to high-quality health care should not be the prerogative of select nations, regions, or classes, but should be defended as a basic human right for all of humanity.
